About

Thomas M. Baxa I’ve spent most of my career as a pro fantasy illustrator on high profile games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, World of Warcraft, Universal Pictures, and many more for print, online, movies, and video games. As of late, I’ve transitioned to more my personal works and IPs for publishing and exhibition in galleries here in Los Angeles, where I am a member of the LA Dark Art Society movement.
Artist Statement: Through the creation of dark creatures, made ugly by the cankers of their distraught souls, I seek to confront people with the darker side of their humanity, so that they effort to unwrap its sway upon their lives and heal deep wounds; freeing them to move towards light filled gifts life has to offer. Gallery Exhibitions + Accomplishments
I’ve been enjoying connecting with the Dark Art scene in Los Angeles by showing in galleries. It’s rewarding to show your work in public amongst other artists whose work you admire. I’ve also had some wonderful opportunities throughout my career, such as having my work included in art books, showing at cons, giving presentations, and having my art privately collected.
